The State of Hawaii and Maui County have worked diligently to provide very progressive and attractive business incentives that foster economic diversity and encourage growth in certain business sectors. From Enterprise Zones and Fast Track Permitting, to Foreign Trade Zones and State-wideTax Incentives, a variety of businesses can benefit from the tax exemptions and credits, as well as take advantage of time saved in the building permit process or the availability of venture capital.

Enterprise Zones - up to seven consecutive years of tax exemptions and credits.

Fast Track Permit Process - businesses that qualify at the Maui Research and Technology Park.

Foreign Trade Zone - Maui Research and Technology Park one of 12 designated zones in the state.
