Workforce Development Maui Community College

Maui Community College (MCC), a branch of the University of Hawaii, has its main campus in Kahului and learning centers located in Hana, Maui and on the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Currently, plans are underway to open the University of Hawaii at Maui in a few years.

Because MCC is a tri-island college community, it pioneered and developed expertise in distance education and technology. High quality liberal arts and vocational-technical 2-yr. degree and certificate programs are offered at Maui Community College. Four-year and graduate degree programs are also available at MCC via the University Center. There are a variety of special programs and curricula, including Apprenticeship Program, Cooperative Education, Maui Language Institute, Marine Option Program, Space Grant and Work Practicum. There were 2,996 students enrolled at Maui Community College during the Fall 2004 semester.
